Today we went out to the osprey site to turn on the camera and Internet so we can activate the camera for 2012. Upon arriving we spotted a canadian goose on the osprey nest, possibly the same one that has nested on the platform in the past. When the goose saw us approach she flew away. We had no idea if there were any eggs on the nest so we had to work quickly in case she needed to get back to her nest and continue incubating. The whole process went really smoothly and as we turned the camera on we saw that there are four eggs in the nest. The live 360 degree camera should be live soon and we can all watch the eggs hatch! The goose continued to watch us with her mate from an adjacent field. As soon as we finished up and left she returned to her nest.
