Pictures right: A Cedar Waxwing (Bombycilla cedrorum) nest located in western Montana.  The camera used in these pictures was mounted on a post a few feet away from the tree so as not to disturb the waxwing while she incubated her eggs. Since the nest did not have a great deal of cover, we decided not to disturb the surrounding branches to get a better camera view becaude it could possibly expose the nest to predators.
